There are many more challenging and enjoyable shooting games to invest your time in instead. A few of the levels are enjoyable and fairly well done, but nothing unique. It would be nice to have a shotgun for the clay style rounds, instead of just a single pistol for everything.There is no menu apart from a grid of levels, and all of those levels are available to play right from the start. The result is that I had no sense of progression through (or particular incentive to play) the game at all. There is an arcade mode where you can play each game once and then get a total score at the end, but I lost interest after doing it once.. Very basic, I was expecting something polished and stylish like Headmaster but no. This one feels a my first Unity game.You keep hearing how it's so much like Point Blank, well yeah. I can only assume they've never played Lethal VR which blows this away or Gun Club which is on another level as far as arcade shooters go. Although this is early access, it's just not even close.... DoubleTap is a perfect recreation of the arcade game Point Blank in VR. A series of different types of fast-paced minigames, all involving a pistol, that scores you after you've done them and gives you a final bonus stage at the end.This is not to be confused with your run of the mill VR zombie shooters or shooting ranges. While technically the game is made up of shooting ranges, the game plays to challenge you, and to make it fun at the same time, and that's the difference.I bought this on sale, but it's worth full price. Can't wait to see what they bring out of early access. This does not feel like an early access game at all - I can't fault it. Maybe lack of multiplayer? I don't know. I'm nitpicking.Edit: HOWEVER, this game has been in early access since December 2017 and says it's only going to be there a few months. I've created a thread in the steam discussions asking for an update now that it's April 2019. Brings back so many great memories from classic arcade games of the past but still feels new and fresh. The stages are great and challenging. A novice can easily get into it but a seasoned veteran will have thier hands full on the difficult parts. I've played shooters since I was little and I find myself wanting more of this one! This is what VR shooters are all about. A must have game to have in your collection. With this price its a no brainer! Can't wait for more addons or the next game to come out. Highly recommended!.
